Check out the terms and conditions for their downloads at their site. a school of QUIET music (notes by the band) Finally, we’ve gone back to our roots of d.i.y. productions and good old fun. The recordings you find here are produced by asoQ with limited budgets. But always supported by people, engineers and mixers that believe in our music for the right reasons. So most of them cut us quite some slack on the invoice while putting in the extra mile to make every new recording session a real treat. We don’t sound like your latest major release, but then again, we are not competing with them. We never were. We are very stubborn when it comes to writing our music. Everyone in this band has specific ideas about the things we want to do and more importantly, about the things we don’t want to do. Some people can hear that in every new song. There is no set pattern, no textbook ‘a school of Quiet sound’, except for the absence of rules maybe. This is not intentional, it is just the way we do it. Music from ‘a school of Quiet’ is just like any other music. Subjected to the judgement of untouchable things like ‘the audience’, ‘the market’, ‘the record label’, ‘the publisher’, ‘the manager’, ‘the booker’, etc… Some of these are good and even great, others were getting outdated. I think many bands are still waiting for the industry to ‘catch up’ with the online events of the past 10 years. We no longer see the point in waiting for others, our music will be available to you and we hope you will share it with others as much as possible because that is why we write it. Your help in sharing this music is very much appreciated. |

MILK INC: LIVE SHOW @ BRABANTHAL 8 MAYAt November 2008, an event organizer ordered a Milk Inc. show which should take place at the Brabanthal at Leuven on March 20th, 2009. A few days before the live show, this organizer decided to cancel the show because of "productional reasons". In consultation with the Milk Inc. management, it was decided to postpone the same show until December 2009 and the already purchased tickets would stay valid for this show or would be payed back. Some while later, we found out that this organizer had made no new arrangements with the Brabanthal. |

EN BRABANTHAL NEMEN ZELF HET INITIATIEF OM FANS TEGEMOET TE KOMEN voor het bedrog van een malafide organisator.In gezamenlijk overleg tussen Milk Inc., het management en Brabanthal werd besloten om een oplossing uit te werken om de gedupeerde fans tegemoet te komen. Dit zal gebeuren door de organisatie van een extra concert op zaterdag 8 mei 2010 in de Brabanthal in Leuven. Alle personen die een ticket gekocht hadden voor het oorspronkelijk optreden op 20 maart 2009 kunnen met dit ticket het optreden op 8 mei e.k. bijwonen. Hoewel deze tickets op naam zijn, wordt toegestaan dat ze overdraagbaar zijn naar andere personen vermits verwacht kan worden dat niet iedereen die voor 20 maart 2009 een ticket gekocht had ook in de mogelijkheid zal zijn om het optreden op 8 mei 2010 bij te wonen. Wie de terugbetaling van zijn ticket wil, zal persoonlijk klacht moeten neerleggen tegen de organisator. Dat kan bij de politie in Leuven. |

In his native Belgium, Bunny is best known for his single ‘Leave’, which topped the radio charts in the summer of 2006. ‘Talk About It’ is the first single taken from the album ‘Urban Chronicles’ due later this month. About the video director: Riccardo is a versatile award-winning commercial, corporate and music video Director. He has directed for J.W. Thompson, Agent Provocateur, Nike, Red Cross, Grazia, Spoon Magazine, Transport for London, European Union. Riccardo has made films with personalities such as Wim Wenders, Luis Bacalov, Vivien Westwood, Dita Von Teese, Shara Nelson, John Rankin, Antoine Duhamel, Rita Marcotulli. DEADSETS : newest MTC Management additionThis Antwerp-based Shoegaze (or is it Nugaze? well, whatever) has only been formed beginning of this year. But they have already quite a following in the region among the punters and fellow artists. The Hickey Underworld thinks them the next interesting Belgian thing, besides cheeseburger flavored chocolates. Recordings are planned later this year for a 2010 release supported by live shows. Or as Tom Cruise would put it : 'Great songs, great sound. Their leadsinger seems like an intriguing character. I can't wait to have rough man-on-man sex with him in the bushes behind the Spiegeltent, where Tim Wilde once got a handjob from that creepy Chinese loempia lady and Fik from Believo took a dump 'cause he'd heard imaginary clown noises coming from the regular toilet and was too scared to go in. THE HICKEY UNDERWORLD does Europe (and the UK)Despite the best intentions to keep any band success limited to notorious triangle : De Panne – Dunkerque – Watou by sending Fred, thier three-legged turtle to the uk press conference or suggesting Luxemburg as the most happening music scene ever (past, present and future) it now seems that Europe has embraced this Antwerp quartet.Their latests fans turns out to be Helter Skelter Agency. They represent a nice bunch of international artists such as Kings of Leon, White Lies, Amy Winehouse and Kaiser Chiefs. And they gladly added THU to their list. And start working they did ... After a busy festival summer in their home country Belgium, Europe seems the next step. This Friday they’ll play the infamous Rehperbahn in Hamburg. Next THU supports The Datsuns in London. In the mean time they embark for a club tour with Das Pop in Holland and later this month it’s Paris for the Custom Night Show. Plus a full German and French tour is in the making. Zap Mama: ReCreationZap Mama has a plan. The multicultural musical entity led by Afropean vocalist and songwriter Marie Daulne is sending everyone on vacation, and the first and only item on the itinerary is ReCreation, the new album set for release on September 14, 2009 through MTC Records.
