BIOGRAPHY: N8N

EMI recording artist N8N (pronnounced N-eight-N = Nathan) grew up in a musical family & is the 4th generation to be in music.
He started playin’ the drums when he was 6, deejayin’ at the age of 13, & by the time he was 16 he picked up the mic and hasn’t stopped performing ever since. Heavily influenced by soul music N8N was listening to Ray Charles, James Brown, B.B King, Bill Withers, Sly Stone, Donny Hathaway, Michael Jackson, ... from a young age and growing up in the 80's made him familiarise with hip-hop & rock.
A few years ago he started working on his own project and came across Daniel Romeo renowned Belgian/ Italian bassist who produced his album.
The debut album (who is he ?) where “old-school meets new school” was recorded live in the studio with real musicians, afterwards produced with samples & what nots. Ten original tracks written by N8N & co, talkin’ bout different subjects such as his love life, break ups, party’s, ...
Funky & feelgood N8N refers to his music as RAW SOUL, where the RAW stands for his bluesy & crispy voice & the production of the tracks.
Live N8N & RAW SOUL rock the show with an amazing 7 piece band also feat. a DJ scratching, they will make you shake everything you’ve got !
With a solid live reputation from his previous musical projects where he perforrmed live & got great critics @ : Ronnie Scott’s (LDN), The Hague Jazz (NL), The Blue Note Festival , Peer Rhythm & Blues, Lokerse Feesten, ... N8N shared the stage & jammed live with: MACY GRAY, NILE RODGERS, INCOGNITO, ...
And as a DJ he played along side legends such as : DJ JAZZY JEFF, DJ PREMIER, KRAAK & SMAAK, MARK RONSON, ...
