Ben Wyers is one of the founding members of Millionaire and had quite an impact on the sound of their wonderful debut-album “Outside The Simian Flock”. In 2007 their self-titled debut-album was released, this release was followed by a series of shows in Belgium.
Their second album ‘Derail to Innovate’ followed only a year later: a great rock ‘n roll album with an ‘in your face’ attitude. By now Gunther Liket (Vandal X) had replaced Yves Staeren on drums. Radio Infinity were building themselves a solid live reputation, bringing an intriguing blend of heavy rock, sonic freak-outs and occasional electronics.
Currently
It’s 2010 and the band, now joined by Koen Brouwers on guitar has finished their 3rd album : ‘Above The Radar’.
It started with a ‘less is more’ approach, and resulted in a powerful rock album: addictive riffs, original melodies and groovy bass lines. No high-tech studio, no fancy producer, no rent-a-musician; Radio Infinity did it all by themselves. Catchy vocals with a tragic threatening edge, guitar mayhem and an unstoppable drive.
‘Above The Radar’ might be one the finest rock albums ever to come from this country.
