BIOGRAPHY: The Hickey Underworld

THE HICKEY UNDERWORLD is a hard-rocking fourpiece from Antwerp, named after a song by the legendary Nation Of Ulysses.

In it's four-year existence, THU has shared the stage with acts like MC5, Dinosaur Jr., The Von Bondies, Cursive and Be Your Own Pet, and played big festivals like ZXZW, Play Festival, 0110, Pukkelpop and Dour.

In 2006, they won HUMO's Rock Rally, Belgiums most important music contest.

So far, they've released one radio single ('Mystery Bruise') and a white vinyl 7inch ('Ghost Holiday'-'Sick Of Boys') which has since become a collector's item.
A full length album, produced by Niek Meul, Bent Van Looy and Reinhard Vanbergen from Das Pop, is expected after the summer.
